The California Department of Food and Agriculture – CDFA, CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing is writing the proposed regulations to establish marijuana cannabis cultivation licensing for the state of california. The CDFA is also creating and developing a track and trace system that will record the movement of marijuana cannabis and cannabis marijuana products through the state’s supply chain, from growth cultivation to sale.

The California Deparment of Food and Agriculture – CDFA is currently not issuing state cannabis marijuana cultivation licenses. They anticipate that they will begin issuing licenses on January 1, 2018.
